Accountants Required to Keep Financial Records

1. Assistant Administrative Secretary Local Government Section Mr. Constantine Mushi has urged Accountants prepare files for financial statements where they're from and entry to facilitate the provision of information by the time of the audit.

Opening the training of New System of Accounting and Reporting on behalf of the Mbeya Regional Commissioner Mr. Mushi said there have been many failures Accountants practices for keeping financial records matter which cause some councils get adverse and Qualified Opinion  through the new system will improve the financial sector.

When He Invited the guest of honor Operating Chair Elect of the training, Dr.Oscar Gabone who also is head of the Institute of Health Iringa  said that  from July this year the government will begin sending money directly to health centers, schools, ward offices and village Office to improve efficiency and accountability.

Dr. Gabone has said that the new system of accounting and reporting (FFARS) will support the implementation of the provision of financial resources directly to senior centers providing services to reinforce the need for the existence of financial management at the level of centers providing services.

Dr. Gabone said the new system will provide incentives for centers providing health care and increase the priority of service delivery to citizens and increase equity and transparency.

He added said the training started with 490 trainers at the national level and which will enable council staff in the health centers and educational sector to gain skills on how to use the new system FFARS.
