Mbeya Regional Commissioner Hon. Amos Makalla has Asked the Citizens to Cooperate with a Contractor

Mbeya Regional Commissioner Hon. Amos Makalla has asked the Kyela citizens to cooperate with a contractor building constructing the Kikusya- Ipinda -Matema Road of 34.6 Km to stimulate economic and commercial activities and tourism in Kyela District.
Hon. Makalla said he was disappointed by a few Ward County members to disagree with the law of the road and to file a case in court claiming compensation when they did not have the right to claim compensation.
He said that based on the broader interests of the National and the Wanakyela Region; he welcomed the consultants of the Continuous Construction of the road and looked at how to avoid obstacles without taking part in the court.
Engineer Samuel Joel has said 34.6 miles (34.6 km) Project Development Project. The project is constructed by the Chinese New Era International Engineering Corporation and managed by the TANROADS specialist unit called the TANROADS Engineering Consultant under the Regional Road Agency Manager.
Engineer Joel said that the project began to be officially implemented in July 2015 and completed it will have 2 Big Bridge and Lufilyo bridges, which will have 20 bridges, Kalvati 2018 and the road will be 6.8 meters wide and until now the project has been completed by 54% 25 months.
Engineer Joel said the project was paid by 100% by the Government of Tanzania at Shs. 56.111 billion. The contractor has now earned 17.6 billion and has paid 6 billion for the work he has completed and claimed at 1.1 billion
The challenges of the continuation of people on the sidewalk on the Ipinda Urban area have refused to comply with the law and to file a case in court. The agencies have been plowing through map drawings so that the road will be built without the impact of the area being sent to court.
