Mbeya Regional Commissioner Launched the Marking of Livestock

Mbeya Regional Commissioner Hon. Amos Makalla has initiated the exercise of Veterinary Marking in the Mbeya Region as part of the Veterinary Law enforcement Act 12th 2010 under the recognition system for registration and livestock monitoring.

Speaking at the launch, Makalla has asked all herdsmen in the Chunya district to register and slaughter cattle to find out the veterinarians' full potential for a better land use program in order to avoid the breaches of pastoralists and farmers in the Mbeya Region.

Hon. Makalla congratulated the Chunya council for adequate education provided to pastoralists and good preparation that led farmers to emerge in bulk. In addition, he has asked for a coworker to complete the task for a month.

And the Secretary-General Administrative Economy and Production Mr. Enock Nyasebwa said that the marking of veterinarians is a diagnostic, registration and livestock monitoring system by describing the number of cattle, registration statistics and the registration of registration events.
